How to get the best results from your Argan Oil and make it an easy part of your beauty routine.

Celebrities, beauties and royals from around the world swear by Argan oil for better skin and hair – and for good reason. Full of antioxidants and vitamin E, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles, scars, stretch marks and acne. Once you have purchased your liquid gold, and the purer the better (ours is 100% Argan oil but many products with Argan in the name only contain a small amount of the oil itself), here are the best ways to make the most of the Moroccan miracle…
• The best time to use Argan oil is after cleansing your skin in the morning. Argan is a dry oil, and won’t leave your skin feeling or looking greasy, but it will give your skin a much needed drink after a night of sleep and some added protection from UV rays, wind and heat.
• Apply your oil to damp skin. It works best on slightly damp skin, so applying after you shower or wash and cleanse your face is ideal. The oil acts as an outer barrier to keep moisture in your skin. By wetting your skin first, the oil traps it and so the skin stays higher in moisture for a longer period of time. Although you need to towel off the drops of water before you use the oil!
• Allow to soak in naturally. Let your skin drink it in – no crazy rubbing or patting. Just enjoy a few minutes of quiet time whilst your skin enjoys its own pamper session.
• Apply evenly to your skin – you’ll want a gloss over the whole body. Don’t forget the soles of your feet, elbows and knees, areas with stretch marks or scars and your face!
• Also apply in the evening, after cleansing and before bed, to keep your skin hydrated throughout the night and to reduce dry skin and ageing whilst you slumber. It’s best used as a serum, applied before you apply your night cream.
