Why its important to keep your skin hydrated.
In the summer, everything is dry and greasy thats why its important to keep your skin hydrated all the the time. Argan oil is one of the few skin moisturisers that treats the dry skin and balances acne prone skin at the same time. But there is one key thing you can do to make sure that when you apply your oil, you are keeping in the moisture that it needs for a good hydrated drinking lots water in the heat. The world’s most beautiful celebrities all claim it’s the secret behind their supple, glowing, always camera-ready skin.
Water. Drinking lots of it. Good old-fashioned H20 is one of your body’s most basic and vital needs. “It’s in our cells and in our blood and in all of the tissues in-between,” says Barbara Rolls, Ph.D., professor of Nutritional Sciences at Pennsylvania State University and a thirst expert.
Ellen Pompeo drinks water for her skin’s sake. Jennifer Aniston says drinking “lots of water” keeps her looking ageless. And Gabrielle Union has been putting away a gallon a day of it since her mid-30s.
Currently, the National Institute of Medicine recommends that women get 2.7 liters (about nine cups) of water each day. But drinking a few litres in the evening after a day without any at all is unlikely to get maximum results. It’s always best to drink a little often. You might even think about investing in a device like an ulla, which you can attach to your water bottle or glass, which reminds you regularly to have a quick glug.
The fact is, if your skin, just like any organ, is not getting the sufficient amount of water, the lack of hydration will present itself by turning your skin dry, tight and probably flakey. Dry skin has less resilience and is more prone to wrinkling.
Sealing in your natural oils and moisture, aided by your whole body hydration, with Argan Liquid Gold, can result in your skin looking years younger within weeks. And it’s really good for the rest of your body too!
